This image was taken on a cold November morning. There had been a clear sky overnight, with temperatures dipping below freezing. As the sun began to rise, it picked out the low mist that had formed. Initially the buck fallow deer on the right stood behind the one in the middle, so I had a deer with two heads. I stood still, waiting, desperately willing either of the deer to move. Eventually one did, and I got this one shot, before the sun came up and the magical light vanished.
It just shows that sometimes, good things do come to those that wait :)
